I am a psychotherapist with a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology. My clinical journey includes over seven years as an addiction inpatient primary therapist, outpatient therapist and Family Program Director, treating clients and families, which is a key element in recovery.
My experience also includes a cognitive behavioral and existential approach towards anxiety, depression, trauma and families dealing with chronic illness.
What is a Marriage and Family Therapist, you may ask? While I am trained to handle a multitude of mental health issues, Marriage and Family therapy is a specialty that focuses on how family dynamics impact psychological health.
I believe in the principles of self actualization and protecting one's peace by any means necessary. Your personal therapeutic journey will have many different phases and goals; progress NOT perfection.
You owe it to yourself to protect your energy, and now is the time!
